Job summary

DHL Express is seeking a Key Accounts Manager to maintain strong relationships with key customers and identify opportunities to grow revenue across national accounts. The role requires strategic engagement with decision makers, managing complex sales cycles, and delivering customized logistics solutions to drive client value.

The ideal candidate has an extensive background in enterprise sales within the transportation/logistics sector and may speak Spanish.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or MS/MA with 5+ years selling services to national accounts.
• Experience selling to large, multi-location national accounts (> $60K/month).
• Knowledge of technologies, processes and practices.
• Experience managing enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases and web-based apps.
• Creativity and problem-solving for high-impact issues in logistics.
• Experience in transportation/logistics sales preferred.
• Spanish language a plus.

We have an immediate career opportunity for a qualified Key Accounts Manager. As a Key Accounts Manager, you will maintain a close working relationship with key customers by identifying the key decision makers within the business, understanding each customer's business challenges and priorities and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction in order to increase revenue streams. In addition, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for growing new business through cold calling, networking and various other methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow revenue and profitability within assigned National accounts.
• Identify, qualify, and close new enterprise business opportunities.
• Build relationships with executive-level and key decision makers.
• Lead complex sales cycles from discovery through contract execution.
• Development of strategies to increase sales penetration and profits in assigned accounts
• Present customized logistics and supply chain solutions that deliver customer value.
• Partner cross-functionally to support customer growth and service excellence.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM activity.
• Achieve and exceed revenue, retention, and growth objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

• BS/BA or MS/MA with 5 plus years of previous experience (selling service vs. product preferred)
• Proven sales experience and success selling large, national account, multi-location businesses (Greater than $60K/monthly revenue targets) strongly preferred
• State of the art knowledge of technologies, processes, and practices
• Experience managing enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, database and web-based applications
• Creative and innovative thinking in bringing successful resolutions to high-impact, and complex problems.
• Experienced selling in the transportation/logistics industry is preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
• Candidates may be asked to complete a work sample, presentation or skills assessment as part of the selection process.
