Job summary

OXEA Corporation is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to drive long-term partnerships with top clients in the oxo chemicals space. You will align company solutions with client objectives, manage forecasts, and lead negotiations across departments to optimize commercial outcomes.

The role requires a deep industry network, strong analytical skills, and exceptional relationship-building abilities, with travel for key accounts as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years in the industry with proven account management experience.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements value-generating account sales strategies aligned with regional directions.
  • Builds and maintains strong, trust-based relationships with key accounts.
  • Leads contract negotiations and interprets complex pricing structures.
  • Serves as the primary liaison between OXEA and customers across departments.
  • Manages monthly forecasts and payment targets with accuracy.
  • Drives growth opportunities with new products, promotions and enhancements.

Job Purpose

As part of the Global Sales organization, the Key Account Manager will focus on building long-term, strategic partnerships with the organization's most valuable clients and strategic prospects, driving sustainable revenue growth, ensuring high client retention, and aligning company solutions with each client's business objectives.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements value generating account sales strategies in alignment with the reginal sales and marketing director
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key accounts.
  • Frames and delivers key contract negotiations according to agreed targets.
  • Provides strong understanding of contracts and legal concepts for complex contracts including market as well as raw material-based pricing structures.
  • Serve as the main liaison between OXEA and the customer across departments.
  • Ensures close personnel market contact, e.g. through direct relationship building to key accounts and decision makers
  • Explores new strategic business opportunities, also in alignment with Business Development teams.
  • Identify opportunities for growth through new product offerings, promotions, and execution enhancements.
  • Manages payment targets and overdue handling
  • Manage monthly forecasts with precision and within accuracy guidelines.
  • Lead key customer meetings, including preparation and presentation of strategic objectives.
  • Address issues and concerns with professionalism and urgency.

  • English fluent in speech and writing
Background & Experience
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with a Masters preferred.
  • Deep knowledge and network in CASE sector
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the industry
  • Proven track record in managing accounts and driving commercial success.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and presenting actionable insights.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
