Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Key Account Executive to join our New Jersey team, covering Essex counties. The role focuses on educating, upselling, and servicing accounts while acting as a liaison between clients and Labcorp operations.

The ideal candidate has outside account management or sales experience, knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Office, and is willing to travel overnight. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 2+ years outside account management or sales experience.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educate, instruct, and upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory.
• Function as a liaison between the client and Labcorp operations team to meet client needs.
• Provide ongoing service and problem resolution to customer base.
• Ensure customer retention by providing superior customer service.
• Recommend solutions that are client focused and persuasive.
• Provide account management for client’s day-to-day operations.
• Upsell current book of business to increase organic growth.
• Work closely with senior sales representatives to grow book of business.
• Continuously provide educational material to the client base.
• Resolve customer related issues in a timely manner.
• Meet and exceed monthly retention and upsell goals.

• Ability to travel overnight as needed

Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills andpriorrelevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

The position is also eligible forbonusand/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan.Bonus/commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics under the plan.
