The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a Kettle Driver for the upcoming holiday season. This temporary, non-exempt role involves driving kettle stands to designated locations, assisting with coin counting, and supporting related Christmas activities across various local sites.
Responsibilities include daily kettle operations, coordinating with the Corps Officer, and ensuring supplies and equipment are properly managed.

WORK HOURS: Monday through Saturday – some split shifts up to 40 Start date: November 11, 2026 End date: December 24, 2026

Drive kettle stands and collection buckets to their locations daily per the routes scheduled. Perform other Christmas related duties that require driving such as food pick up, toy collections pick ups and other duties as assigned by the Commanding Officer.
Your primary immediate supervisor is the Corps Officer. When the CO is not available, the Corps administrative assistant will provide direction and can answer any questions.
Some work may be performed in outside inclement weather, and there may be some physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomfort with noise, rain, snow, dust, dirt, and similar.
Monday through Saturday / In-person at various jobsites throughout local area.
