Job summary

Triple Crown Senior Living in Elizabethtown is seeking a Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA) for Aspen Alcove to assist with medication administration and resident support in memory care. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication, and compassionate caregiving throughout the shift.

The part-time, dayshift position offers a supportive team environment, on-site work at 1108 Regency Way, and opportunities to contribute to resident well-being and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Certified Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA) credential required.
• CPR certification preferred or required as noted.
• Strong understanding of medication administration procedures.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA) to assist in administering medications and support our residents in the memory care unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to caregiving.

Essential Duties

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper documentation
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments
• Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines
• Take amazing care of our residents

Work Experience

• Certified Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA)
• CPR certification
• Previous experience in memory care or a similar setting preferred
• Strong understanding of medication administration procedures and protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds and bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach and sit for long periods
• Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
