Job summary

Pacific Air Forces on Kadena Air Base Okinawa is seeking a non-appropriated fund administrative support professional. You will handle customer inquiries on boarding, grooming, quarantine, and adoption processes, collect payments, and manage records and inventories.

Position requires attention to detail and adherence to procedures, with limited contact with animals. This is a clerical role with emphasis on recordkeeping and customer service.

Qualifications

• Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Receives customers and provides information on boarding, grooming, quarantine, adoption, and other topics.
• Collects fees and operates a cash register/POS.
• Completes boarding agreements with ID, vaccination, dates, medications, and emergency contacts.
• Maintains household, shot, microchip records, grooming appointments, and waiting lists.
• Performs monthly resale inventory and informs management of depleted forms.
• Follows emergency procedures and performs other related duties.
