Job summary

Horsham Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Part Time Kennel Technician to ensure the health and happiness of our boarded animals, maintain a clean and safe environment, and provide excellent customer service to owners. This role primarily covers two to three weekday afternoon shifts (3-6pm) and one to two weekends per month, with flexibility to cover holidays when boarding guests are present.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Part Time Kennel Technician to join our team at Horsham Veterinary Hospital. As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and wellness of our boarded animals. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for the animals, as well as providing excellent customer service to their owners. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our animal guests are comfortable and happy during their stay with us. This position is primarily for two to three weekday afternoon shifts (3-6pm) one to two weekends per month.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in animal husbandry and handling
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays (we do have a boarding facility so we still need kennel techs to walk and feed boarders even when we are closed for holidays)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with health and wellness of animals
