Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Feed, water, and provide enrichment activities to animals according to established schedules and dietary requirements.
  • Monitor animals for signs of illness, injury, or distress and report observations to veterinary or supervisory staff.
  • Assist with the intake and release process of animals, including documentation and ensuring proper identification.
  • Support the team in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment, and communicate needs for restocking.
  • Follow all safety protocols and animal handling procedures to ensure the well-being of both animals and staff.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and provide excellent care to all animals.
