Job summary

Woodmoor Veterinary Hospital & Pet Lodge – Monument, CO is seeking a friendly Kennel Assistant to care for boarding and hospitalized pets, keep kennels clean, and support our veterinary team.

This full-time role offers on-the-job training, weekends/holidays, employee discounts, and opportunities to grow in veterinary care.

Qualifications

• Love for animals and strong work ethic.
• Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented.
• Able to work weekends/holidays.
• Experience with kennels or animal care is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for boarding and hospitalized pets (feeding, walking, cleaning).
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennel areas and pet lodge facilities.
• Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and handling pets of all sizes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to pet owners.

What You’ll Do

• Provide daily care for boarding and hospitalized pets (feeding, walking, cleaning)
