Job summary

All Creatures Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Kennel Assistant to join our team. Our Kennel team is dedicated to the care and comfort of our patients while providing critical support to the veterinary team.

• 1+ years of experience as a veterinary kennel assistant/kennel technician preferred.
• Related experience in animal care such as boarding/doggy daycare acceptable.
• Genuine passion for animal care and patient wellbeing.
• Confident handling of dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments.
• Strong observational skills and willingness to communicate patient concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide meals and walks to boarding patients and monitor their condition.
• Administer medication and observe for medical or behavioral concerns with documentation.
• Sanitize kennels, common areas, and treatment spaces; ensure supplies are stocked.
• Maintain detailed records of observations and patient status for veterinary team.
• Assist veterinary staff with daily duties and maintain a clean, organized environment.

All Creatures Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Kennel Assistant to join our team! Our Kennel team is dedicated to the care and comfort of our patients while providing critical support to the veterinary team.

In this role, you will focus on patient husbandry and care as well as general housekeeping duties throughout the hospital.You will provide meals and walks to boarding patients, administer medication, andmonitorforany medical or behavioral concerns while providing detailed documentation about your observations. You will ensure kennels, commonspacesand treatment areas are sanitized and well stocked with supplies.

This position is ideal for those who are self-driven, detail-oriented, enjoy cleaning and organization, and are committed to contributing to a team-focused environment.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $15-16 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a flexible, part-time position with availability needed Monday through Sunday. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Team members should be available to work either Saturday or Sunday each week, with the option to work both weekend days if preferred. We do our best to provide one weekend day off each week.

• 1+ years of experience as a veterinary kennel assistant / kennel technician preferred
  • Will consider related experience within animal care such as boarding / doggy daycare attendant, FFA or 4H background

  • Ability to safely handle, restrain, walk, and monitor animals under supervision
