• Maintain clean and sanitary kennels, cages, treatment areas, and hospital spaces.
• Assist with stocking, organizing, and maintaining supplies.
• Prepare surgical packs and assist with equipment maintenance and cleaning.

Sierra Ranch Veterinary Clinic is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Kennel Assistant to join our dedicated veterinary team in Roseville, California.

Position Overview

The Kennel Assistant plays an important role in supporting our veterinarians and technical staff while ensuring the comfort, cleanliness, and well-being of our patients and boarding animals.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of flea and tick preventatives, medications, and general veterinary care

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with vaccine administration
• Basic understanding of veterinary pharmacology and medical terminology
• Experience obtaining TPRs (temperature, pulse, and respiration) and patient signalments

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation:

• $17.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience
