Job summary

VCA Farmington Hills Animal Hospital is seeking a Kennel Assistant to support our team in caring for hospitalized pets and boarding patients. You will work with experienced technicians to clean, stock, and prepare supplies, helping maintain a safe and comfortable hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in kennel work is a plus, or interest in veterinary field.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning cages and providing fresh bedding and water to patients.
• Doing laundry.
• Washing dishes for patient use.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all areas of the hospital.
• Cleaning and maintaining hospital premises and communal areas.
• Stocking treatment areas with medical equipment and supplies.
• Attending to boarding and hospitalized patients.
• Assisting doctors, technicians and assistants.
