Job summary

VCA Wingate Animal Hospital in Colorado is looking for two full-time Kennel Assistants to join a team that prioritizes pets and their owners. You will care for animals, maintain kennel areas, and assist with grooming and medications.

The role requires experience with animals, ability to restrain them safely, and strong customer service. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required as part of a fast-paced environment.

VCA Wingate Animal Hospital is seeking two Full Time Kennel Assistants. You would be joining a team that makes their pet owners and their pets the number one priority. A team that goes above and beyond to provide excellent care for the animals as well as their team.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel facility
• Clean and maintain kennel areas, including feeding, watering, and exercising animals
• Monitor the health and well‑being of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and administering medications to animals as directed
• Work with the medical team as needed when medical concerns arise
• Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior

Experience
