VCA Wingate Animal Hospital is seeking two Full Time Kennel Assistants to join a team that prioritizes the care of pets and their owners. The role involves daily kennel duties, animal care, and collaboration with medical staff in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have prior experience with animals, be able to handle and restrain animals safely, and demonstrate strong customer service skills. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel facility
• Clean and maintain kennel areas, including feeding, watering, and exercising animals
• Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and administering medications to animals as directed
• Work with the medical team as needed when medical concerns arise
• Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior
