Overview

Become a Delivery Associate / Driver for a contracted Amazon Delivery Service Partner. Amazon Delivery Station in Kendall, delivering packages to homes, retail locations, and other delivery sites from 13320 SW 132 Ave, Miami, FL 33186. We are a growing, independent delivery service partner offering part-time and seasonal positions. We seek mature, professional, reliable driver associates who are customer-focused and eager to contribute to a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Drive a delivery van to drop off Amazon packages to customers within the community.
• Plan to work about 2-3 days a week on a part-time basis (weekends and holidays included).
• Typically work 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Follow strict safety standards on and off the road.
• Interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
• Use handheld technology to manage the delivery process and resolve obstacles.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times.
• May assist in training other team members and help coworkers.

Work Environment

• Operate a delivery Amazon-branded high roof van (up to 10,000 pounds) to deliver packages to residences and businesses, including stair navigation as required, in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility is key; routes may vary and may be delayed due to traffic, construction, or other factors.
• Set core schedule with potential adjustments including additional hours and seasonal changes.

Basic Job Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid Florida driver's license in good standing (CDL not required).
• US Work Authorization.
• High-School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to operate and navigate a large delivery van with a gross vehicle weight of 10,000 lbs. or less.
• Must be able to move, lift or push boxes up to 70 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 12 hours long.
• Physically fit to get in and out of a van every few minutes (up to 100 to 2000 times/day) to deliver up to 350 packages/day.
• Capable of moving up and down stairs.
• Ability to effectively operate a GPS.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Prior professional driving experience.
• Proven track record of reliability.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to problem solve independently.
• Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
