Indiana University Kelley School of Business seeks a Kelley AI Grading and Enablement Lead to support the Kelley Technology Curriculum Accelerator. This hybrid role focuses on AI-assisted grading, Canvas workflows, and scalable operations across multiple courses.

You will train TAs, document processes, and ensure consistent application of faculty grading standards while supporting student-facing operations and AI curriculum initiatives.

Overview

Kelley School of Business at Indiana University seeks a Kelley AI Grading and Enablement Lead to support the Kelley Technology Curriculum Accelerator. The role is within the Virtual Advanced Business Technologies area and supports cross-departmental technology and AI curriculum operations, including courses and initiatives connected to Communication, Professional and Computer Skills, Operations and Decision Technologies, and related school-level AI programs.

Department-Specific Responsibilities
  • Administers and supports AI-assisted grading tools, workflows, documentation, user training, issue resolution, and quality-control processes for Kelley’s technology and AI curriculum.
  • Manages day-to-day Canvas and AI-assisted grading workflows that use AI tools, prompts, agents, evaluations, and quality-control processes across X101 and X201, with support for K201, K303, and related Kelley Technology Curriculum Accelerator initiatives.
  • Configures, tests, documents, and supports Canvas and AI-assisted grading tools, workflows, prompts, rubrics, evaluations, and related operational processes.
  • Develops and maintains workflow documentation, user guidance, training materials, quality-control procedures, and escalation protocols.
  • Serves as a primary support point for TA issues related to AI-assisted grading workflows, including troubleshooting, issue triage, and escalation of items requiring faculty judgment.
  • Trains TA graders on grading workflows, rubrics, AI-assisted tools, feedback processes, escalation procedures, and quality-control expectations.
  • Translates faculty grading expectations into repeatable, documented processes that can be applied consistently by TAs and supported at scale.
  • Monitors grading workflow performance, identifies operational issues or risks, and recommends improvements for consistency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Supports student-facing and course-facing operational questions related to Canvas, grading workflows, feedback processes, access issues, and AI curriculum operations.
  • Supports AI integration work in K201 and K303, content refreshes, workflow design, testing, term-launch readiness, and implementation of AI-enabled academic operations.
  • Builds and maintains reusable AI resources, including prompts, custom AI tools, agents, evaluations, documentation, and standardized workflows for faculty, staff, and student teams.
  • Supports the technology advancement function of the AI Ambassadors program by developing shared tooling and equipping student teams with current AI workflows and methods.
  • Provides operational and technical support for school-level AI curriculum initiatives, including events and programs.
  • Collaborates with faculty, staff, student teams, and academic leaders to improve scalable AI-enabled academic operations.
  • Responsible for building, configuring, testing, documenting, implementing, and continuously improving AI-assisted grading workflows, primarily for X101 and X201, with additional support for K201 and K303 AI work.
  • Manages the day-to-day operation of AI-assisted grading workflows while faculty retain authority over grading standards and final decisions.
  • Supports reusable AI tooling and academic operations infrastructure for Kelley initiatives, including the AI Ambassadors program and related events.
General Responsibilities
  • Escalation point for troubleshooting, analyzing, and designing solutions for problems in applications and products.
  • Manages upgrades, releases, customization, and documentation according to team methodology.
  • Leads design, development, and implementation of new software solutions.
  • Develops best practices for building, testing, and deploying applications.
  • Guides evaluation and guidance for implementation of new technologies to improve client applications.
  • Collaborates with leadership on project planning, objective formulation, task estimation, and evaluation of requests.
  • Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced staff.

Combinations of related education and experience may be considered. Education beyond the minimum may be substituted for work experience, and vice versa.

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in computer science, business systems, or related field)

This role requires the ability to communicate effectively and to operate a computer and standard office equipment. The position involves sedentary work and periods of movement in an office and campus environment. The role may require accommodation.
