Job summary

FlightSafety International seeks a KC-46 Pilot Instructor to lead simulator-based training for U.S. Air Force and allied pilots. The role covers Initial, Upgrade, Requalification, and Refresher training using multiple training devices and aircraft systems.

You will conduct briefings/debriefings, analyze trainee performance, and serve as a subject matter expert. A bachelor’s degree and a current or obtainable SECRET clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience as AAR Pilot Instructor or ATS Instructor within 5 years.
• Logged at least 200 flight hours in USAF or Allied Nation receiver aircraft or equivalent training simulator.
• Must have or be able to obtain a SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Initial, Upgrade, Requalification, and Refresher training using KC-46 simulators and devices.
• Conduct ground-based training for aircrew and maintenance personnel.
• Perform briefings, debriefings, and counseling to develop student proficiency.
• Extract and analyze trainee data, preparing for review sessions.
• Serve as KC-46 Pilot SME for students and staff.
• Maintain high instructional standards and KC-46 systems knowledge.
• Provide inputs for courseware corrections and updates to training policies.
• Operate the Student Management System.
