Job summary

Pilot Assessments is seeking an experienced KC-130H/T pilot and Instructor Pilot for on-site assignments in the United States. The role involves flying, instructing, evaluating aircrew, and developing mission training materials in alignment with current tactics and safety standards.

The candidate will coordinate with operations and maintenance, uphold standardization and CRM practices, and travel for meetings and site visits as needed.

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified KC-130H/T pilot and formally designated Instructor Pilot by competent authority (required).
  • KC-130H/T type rating (required).
  • FAA CPL with IR and ME (accepted).
  • FAA Class 2 medical (current and maintained).
  • Flight time: 700+ hours total military flight time.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Strong supervisory leadership; ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
  • Outstanding organization, attention to detail, and time management with a record of meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Reliable attendance, punctuality, professional appearance, and flexibility to work varied hours and respond on short notice.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

What you’ll bring

Clearance, compliance & eligibility
  • Security: Active U.S. SECRET clearance required; position is subject to government security investigation.
  • Installation access: Ability to pass background checks to obtain/retain access to specific installation bases to perform work for GMRE.
  • Ability to maintain all required medical and flight qualifications at all times.
Travel & logistics
  • Travel: Occasional travel for meetings, training, and site visits.
  • Driving: Driving or renting a vehicle for company business is expected with some frequency; a valid driver’s license is required for insurance purposes.
Training, standards & safety
  • Successfully complete all prescribed instructor training and evaluation requirements.
  • Uphold and advance standardization, SMS practices, and regulatory compliance across flight operations.
  • Continuously improve syllabi and mission profiles to reflect current tactics, techniques, and procedures.
