Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience training adults who work with children.
• Minimum twelve (12) credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field and at least ten years ECE experience.
• OR Bachelor Degree or higher from an accredited college in ECE or related field and at least three years ECE experience.
• Applicants must show the above experience and proof of credits.
• This position requires physical presence in Hawaii.
• AND ten (10) years of ECE experience and twelve (12) credits in ECE or related field in addition to the requirements above.
• AND Bachelor Degree or higher from an accredited college in ECE or related field, in addition to the requirements above.

Responsibilities

• Lead instruction in scheduled classes for PATCH participants.
• Ensure materials and supplies are available for each training session.
• Review and familiarize oneself with training materials and equipment.
• Coordinate and manage paperwork related to each class.
• Prepare and clean up before and after each training session.
• Return training materials and paperwork to PATCH offices promptly.
• Participate in or review minutes from all trainer meetings.
• Stay current with training updates and curriculum revisions.
