Bomgaars is seeking a friendly, outgoing cashier to join our team in a full-time, onsite position. You will greet customers, ring up sales, handle transactions, and help with stock and merchandising at the front of the store.

The role emphasizes strong customer service and reliability. The ideal candidate has cashier/retail experience, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and is able to lift up to 50 lbs while standing for extended periods.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Cashier and retail experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Detail oriented.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods.
• Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends).

• Greet and welcome customers.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately (cash, correct change, credit cards, debit cards, and checks).
• Scan and bag items for customers.
• Process customer returns and exchanges according to store policy.
• Promote store loyalty programs/special promotions/coupon redemption.
• Balance cash drawers at the end of the shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area.
• Stocking/Merchandising the front end of the store as well as helping in the Clothing department.
• Handling phone calls.
