ABC7 Los Angeles is seeking a dynamic and enterprising reporter dedicated to covering the Inland Empire. Based in Riverside-San Bernardino Counties, this self-starting journalist will play a vital role in reporting on and representing this important area.The ideal candidatemust be a great storyteller, content creator and collaborator who knows how to present active and engaging live shots and be endlessly creative on all platforms. This reporter works to build meaningful relationships with leaders, newsmakers and community organizations in the Inland Empire, regularly generating unique and exclusive story ideas. Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects based on resources, deadlines and daily news demands.Ability to shoot, edit and publish is a plus.

This role is considered on-site in our Riverside County Bureau.

• Bilingual preferred

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $120,000 to $145,000 per year based on a 40 hour work week.

The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs.

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

• A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
