Job summary

K9 Resorts is seeking a Pet Care Technician in Florida to provide hands-on care for dogs, supervise daycare, and ensure a premium guest experience for pets and their parents.

No experience? Training is provided. You will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting, performing cleaning duties, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working weekends and holidays as needed.

• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Comfortable getting down and dirty with cleaning and pet care tasks.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and adaptable.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Providing compassionate, hands-on care for dogs of all breeds and sizes
• Supervising daycare playgroups and ensuring safe, positive interactions
• Monitoring dog health, behavior, and safety and reporting concerns immediately
• Cleaning and disinfecting suites and common areas to brand standards
• Assisting with feeding, bathing, play sessions, and daily routines
• Delivering a 5-star guest experience to every pet parent
• Supporting team operations and maintaining a strong, positive culture

What You’ll Do

As a Pet Care Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our resort—working hands-on with dogs and ensuring every guest receives exceptional care.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
