Job summary

K9 Resorts is seeking a Pet Care Technician in Madison, NJ. You will work hands-on with dogs, supervising daycare, and ensuring safety and well-being across all guests in a fast-paced, team-driven setting.

You will clean, feed, bathe, and help maintain our high standard of care, with training provided if you’re new to the field. Weekend and holiday availability is required to join our luxury pet hotel team.

Qualifications

• Previous dog-care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable cleaning and handling animals.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
• Supervise daycare playgroups and ensure safe, positive interactions.
• Monitor dog health, behavior, and safety and report concerns immediately.
• Clean and disinfect suites and common areas to brand standards.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, play sessions, and daily routines.
• Deliver a 5-star guest experience to every pet parent.
• Support team operations and maintaining a strong, positive culture.

What You'll Do

As a Pet Care Technician, you'll be at the heart of our resort-working hands-on with dogs and ensuring every guest receives exceptional care.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Providing compassionate, hands-on care for dogs of all breeds and sizes
• Supervising daycare playgroups and ensuring safe, positive interactions
• Monitoring dog health, behavior, and safety and reporting concerns immediately
• Cleaning and disinfecting suites and common areas to brand standards
• Assisting with feeding, bathing, play sessions, and daily routines
• Delivering a 5-star guest experience to every pet parent
• Supporting team operations and maintaining a strong, positive culture
