Job summary

CHAPPELL COLLECTIVE INC in Columbia, MD is seeking a K9 Attendant to supervise and care for dogs in a lively, interactive environment.

You will assist with check-ins, check-outs, grooming, keep kennels clean, and follow owner directions. We offer flexible hours, on-the-job training, and a fun, dog-loving culture; candidate must be 18+, own transportation, and available 15–25 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have own reliable transportation.
• Must have open availability weekdays, weekends, and holidays for 15-25 hours/week with potential for increased hours.
• Must have a passion for working with dogs.
• Previous dog daycare/kennel experience is a plus.
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a pack.
• Willing to clean up after dogs all day long.

Responsibilities

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

We're looking for a dedicated K9 Attendant to join our pack. As a K9 Attendant, you'll be responsible for supervising and caring for our furry clients, ensuring they have a fun and safe experience while they're with us, and keeping the facility clean at all times.

• Providing care and supervision for dogs of all sizes and breeds in a fully interactive environment
• Assisting with check-ins, check-outs, and grooming appointments
• Maintaining a clean and safe kennel environment
• Administering medication to dogs as directed by their owners
• Providing lots of love and attention to our furry guests
• Helping to manage daily operations of the facility

Monday -Friday

6 AM-1 PM, 7 AM-2 PM, 8:30 AM- 5:30 PM, 1 PM- 7:45 PM

Saturdays

6 AM-8 AM, 6 AM- 1 PM, 8 AM- 5 PM, 8:30 AM- 5:30 PM, 1- 8 PM, 5 PM- 8 PM.

Sundays

7- 9 AM, 7-1:30 PM, 9 AM- 1:30 PM, 5 PM- 8 PM.

Shift availability:

• Morning Shift (Preferred)
• Evening Shift (Preferred)
