Job summary

Saint Patrick White Lake is seeking a qualified Computer/Technology Teacher for Kindergarten through 8th grade. The ideal candidate will maintain high academic and behavioral standards within a positive classroom environment.

The role involves teaching general technology classes (K-5) and electives for grades 6-8, potentially including coding, 3D-printing, or yearbook, with coordination through Clarkston Public Schools.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited university.
• State of Michigan Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education.
• Ability to complete criminal history, background check, and fingerprinting.
• Ability to complete Protecting God's Children.
• Experience with STAR Renaissance Testing preferred.
• Experience with FACTS School Information System preferred.
• Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach general technology classes for Kindergarten-8th grade students
• Teach elective classes for 6-8 th grade students
• Support other teacher/school programs that may include computer/technology aspects.
• Help to coordinate STAR Renaissance Testing
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and parents to support student growth.
