Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a Special Education Teacher for K-8 in Columbia, SC onsite. You will work with students needing special support, delivering personalized learning approaches to foster growth and success.

The role supports a school-day schedule, 35–37.5 hours per week, with a 10–12 week contract. Qualifications include a SC Driver's License, SCDOE Special Education certificate, and SLED background check.

Qualifications

Requires SC Driver's License and SC DOE Special Education certificate.
SLED background check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

Create a classroom environment that cultivates learning, engages the interests of the students, and allows them to perform at their very best.
Utilize direct instruction to guide students through activities promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth.
Explore individual needs and provide side-by-side support to tailor learning to each student.
Master the curriculum and implement our education philosophy to guide student progress.
Evaluate each student’s learning and celebrate achievements.
Encourage students to uphold values and model mature behavior in all settings.
