Job summary

Portland Public Schools is seeking a K-8 Shared Time Teacher to join Saints Peter and Paul. The selected candidate will teach one day per week, up to three days depending on endorsement area, using Michigan Teaching Certificate endorsements for PE, Music, and Technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with PE/Music/Technology endorsements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships with students, staff, parents and district colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Teach K-8 Shared Time schedule up to 3 days per week.
• Teach Technology, Music and/or Physical Education as endorsed.
• Support PBIS/MTSS initiatives and safe school climate.
