Young World Physical Education is seeking a full-time Physical Education Teacher for grades K-8 in Middletown, Ohio. The candidate will develop student physical skills, promote fitness, and motivate students towards good health. Applicants must hold a state certification as a Physical Education Teacher and preferably have a bachelor's degree in education. This role involves creating a safe learning environment and encouraging the holistic well-being of students. A passion for teaching and experience are essential.

Qualifications

• State Certification as a Physical Education Teacher is required.
• Successful prior teaching experience for appropriate grade level preferred.
• Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.

Responsabilités

• Develops and administers Physical Education classes consistent with school district goals.
• Teaches knowledge of physical fitness, rhythm, coordination, and sports.
• Conducts ongoing assessment of student growth and modifies instructional methods.

Connaissances

Knowledge of current physical education instructional methods

Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents

Ability to organize and coordinate work

Knowledge of physiology, health and nutrition

Formation

Bachelors from an accredited college in education discipline

State Certification as a Physical Education Teacher

Masters Degree preferred
