RISE Prep Academies in Woonsocket, RI, is seeking an Arts Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction across K-8 as an enrichment role with quarterly cross-level support. The position emphasizes standards-aligned curriculum in Visual, Dance, and/or Drama and a data-driven approach to student growth.

You will foster a joyful, structured classroom culture, differentiating for diverse learners and collaborating with families and colleagues to enhance the scholar experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Current teaching certification or enrollment coursework leading to certification.
• Science of Reading training required or awareness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Technological proficiency with online platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, grade-level instruction across K-8.
• Support scholars across grades K-3 or 4-8 on a quarterly basis.
• Develop and implement standards-aligned arts curriculum (visual, dance, and/or drama).
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners (IEP/504/MLL).
• Create a joyful, structured learning environment with clear routines.
• Use data to inform instruction and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with families and colleagues to ensure well-rounded scholar experiences.
