Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field is required.
• Valid Delaware Art Education teaching certification is required or in progress.
• Two years of successful teaching experience preferred, urban or arts-focused settings favored.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive, achievement-oriented K–8 art classroom.
• Develop standards-aligned art lessons to build skills and appreciation.
• Integrate arts with core subjects through project-based learning.
• Promote student voice, identity, and cultural expression through art.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams on arts-integrated units.
• Showcase student work and lead exhibitions and performances.
• Tailor instruction using student data and observations.
• Differentiate instruction to support all learners.
• Foster a safe, respectful studio culture.
