Job summary

Achieve Language Academy in Minnesota seeks an Art Teacher to provide classroom instruction in Art for K-8 students starting Fall 2026. The role requires a valid Minnesota teaching license in visual arts and preference for elementary or middle school teaching experience.

You will develop and implement art curriculum aligned with state standards, use culturally responsive teaching, and maintain records and communications with parents. A collaborative, safe classroom environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Minnesota visual arts teaching license is required.

• Develops and administers art education curriculum consistent with school goals and objectives as well as the Minnesota state standards for art education.
• Uses culturally responsive instruction.
• Organizes and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievement and attendance as required by school procedures and applicable laws.
• Communicate with parents regarding the program goals, classroom activities and student progress.
• Provide a safe classroom environment for students.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, administrators, and other staff to ensure the success of students.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A valid Minnesota teaching license in visual arts.
• Successful elementary or middle school teaching experience preferred.
