Job summary

Wise School in Los Angeles seeks a Technology & Innovation Teacher to lead the K–6 technology curriculum, teaching ~19 classes and guiding students in safe, creative use of technology. The role emphasizes AI literacy and ongoing curriculum refinement to reflect evolving educational practices.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree, have elementary teaching experience, and collaborate with teachers to integrate technology across projects, in a warm, values-driven school community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience teaching or working with elementary-aged students.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Experience with educational technology, computer science, STEM, coding, digital media, or related areas.
• Familiarity with emerging AI tools and responsible AI use in education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach engaging technology and innovation lessons for K–6.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and strong management.
• Teach digital literacy, privacy, safety, and responsible tech use.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate technology into curriculum.
• Support and train faculty on new tools and tech integration.
• Coordinate with IT for tech needs and subscriptions.
• Attend meetings and school programs as required.
• Model the school's Jewish mission and values in daily interactions.
