Qualifications

• Active Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Comfort with growth-focused coaching via observations, debriefs, action planning and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
• Experience working within an urban environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with ability to modify during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Maintain records of students’ progress and development.
• Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and instruction.
• Manage student behavior and create a positive classroom environment.
• Collaborate and communicate with families regarding academic and social-emotional growth.
• Implement school-approved curricula reflecting diverse backgrounds.
• Participate in planning and implementation of non-instructional activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
