Job summary

Great Hearts Academies in Irving, TX is seeking an Assistant Teacher/Apprentice Teacher to support lead teachers in delivering a Core Knowledge curriculum for K-5 students. A bachelor’s degree is not required for this role, and the position is hourly and non-exempt.

The Apprentice Teacher path offers mentorship and a route toward lead teaching, with distinctive faculty benefits and a strong professional development program. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• US work authorization required.
• Background check and fingerprint clearance in accordance with state requirements.
• Travel may be local for training and professional development.

Responsibilities
