Qualifications

• Colorado SPED Generalist license required.
• Experience with students with disabilities; internship helpful.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and support individualized practices for students with diverse needs.
• Design and implement specialized instruction in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings.
• Plan and modify curriculum with general educators; communicate needs and milestones.
• Develop, implement and review behavioral plans for designated students.
• Collaborate on IEP and referral meetings with a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain ongoing communication with teachers, staff, students and parents.
• Create a safe, supportive environment for disabled students.
