Job summary

Sonshine Center - FAITH Church - FAITH Christian Academy is seeking a K–5 Instructional Aide. You will support the classroom teacher, assist with small-group and one-on-one learning, and supervise during recess and lunch in a faith-centered environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and committed to serving students with a biblical worldview, while helping maintain a joyful, well-managed classroom.

Qualifications

• Must have a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Love for children and desire to help them learn and thrive.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates resourcefulness and teamwork in relationships, teacher leadership, communication, and problem solving.
• Performs clerical tasks including grading, entering grades, attendance, and distribution of classroom materials.
• Keeps classroom neat and organized, sets up bulletin boards, and coordinates parent volunteers.
• Supervises students during recess, lunch, hallway transitions, and field trips.
• Maintains classroom order, communicates behavior concerns to teachers, and supports instruction.
