Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the district's curriculum requirements and show written evidence of preparation.
• Prepare lessons reflecting accommodations for differences in student learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Establish standards of pupil behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Establish a system of student evaluation and report progress to parents as required.
• Plan and coordinate the work of aides and paraprofessionals when applicable.
