Amergis Healthcare Staffing in Memphis, TN seeks an experienced Elementary School Teacher for a contract - full time role in a healthcare facility setting. The K–5 General Education Teacher will deliver instruction and manage classrooms to support student growth in line with state standards and district expectations.

The position involves collaboration with school staff, families, and Amergis Educational Staffing to provide high-quality services for grades K–5.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred.
• Valid state teaching license and/or certificate/endorsement as required by state.
• Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred.
• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred.
• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Ability to comply with FERPA and HIPPA requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilités

• The K–5 General Education Teacher provides instruction, classroom management, and student support in accordance with state standards, district policies, and school expectations.
• The General Education Teacher collaborates with school staff, families, and Amergis Educational Staffing to ensure high-quality educational services for students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
