Job summary

Neighborhood Learning Alliance PGH seeks a part-time K-5 Afterschool Site Supervisor at Pittsburgh Concord Elementary. The role runs Monday through Friday, 3:45 pm–6:30 pm, with an average 12:1 camper-to-adult ratio and a $17.50 hourly rate.

The supervisor will oversee program quality, plan daily activities, supervise staff, and ensure safety and documentation standards are met while fostering a welcoming, supportive environment for students and families.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
  • Experience in education, social work, public service, or nonprofits.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with technology and classroom tools.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee successful implementation and quality assurance of the afterschool program model across the site.
  • Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of daily programming.
  • Establish and refine daily procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support staff with feedback.
  • Manage attendance, behavior plans, and interventions as needed.
  • Maintain program documentation and incident reports.
