Qualifications

• Active and current state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Ability to thrive in a growth-focused coaching environment with frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in urban environments.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans and adapt them as needed during the year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet all students' needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Utilize research-based practices in daily planning and classroom instruction.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with families about student progress.
• Incorporate technology to support learning.
• Participate in planning and implementing non-instructional activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
