Job summary

Alpha is hiring for a Learning Coach to lead K-3 life-skills workshops and coach students both one-on-one and in small groups. You will use Coachbot analytics and motivation systems to keep students progressing toward ambitious weekly goals.

This on-site role focuses on building confidence, resilience, and communication through engaging activities and strong relationships. The position emphasizes active coaching over traditional classroom instruction.

Qualifications

• Experience in coaching children ages K-3 or similar is preferred.
• Ability to lead engaging, participatory life-skills workshops.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with students.
• Comfort using data to track progress toward goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging life-skills workshops for K-3 students to build durable skills.
• Coach students one-on-one and in small groups, using Coachbot analytics and motivation systems.
• Assess life-skill mastery and coach until real understanding is shown.
• Adapt coaching style to developmental needs, using songs, movement, and storytelling.
• Build trusting relationships to encourage students to stretch beyond their limits.
