Framework is seeking a Special Education Teacher (K-2 and Resource) to lead a self-contained classroom in Allendale County, SC, with commuting options from Augusta and Savannah, GA. You will deliver core subjects, support individualized goals, and monitor progress for a primary cohort.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina teaching certification in Special Education (or eligible for immediate certification/reciprocity).
• Broad knowledge of core subject instruction, remedial methods, and behavioral intervention strategies for self-contained spaces.
• Ability to provide highly structured instruction and monitor student progress.

Responsibilities

• Delivers core elementary subjects (reading, math, science, social studies) tailored to learning needs.
• Maintains a highly structured classroom environment for safety and focus.
• Establishes objectives aligned with state standards and records requirements (IEP & records).
• Assesses student progress and generates reports; seeks diagnostic help as needed.
• Plans collaboratively with staff and provides substitute teachers with detailed plans.
• Communicates regularly with families about academic and behavioral progress.
• Maintains professionalism, follows school rules, and participates in district PD.
