Qualifications

• Active Ohio Teaching Licensure.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience teaching children, preferably in a classical or public school.
• Strong knowledge base to support the content-rich curriculum.
• Passion and enthusiasm for teaching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Alignment to the school's mission and classical education philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Creates and executes lesson plans aligned with the school’s classical curriculum.
• Uses teacher-led strategies to address varied student needs and learning styles.
• Establishes classroom management to foster a positive learning environment.
• Administers state standardized and internal assessments per policies.
• Regularly assesses student progress and adjusts instruction accordingly.
• Collaborates with colleagues and leadership, attends weekly staff meetings.
• Partners with Intervention Specialists for IEP-related services and meetings.
• Supports 504 plans with tracking and reporting activities.
• Maintains professional and ethical standards in all interactions.
• Supports campus culture through attendance at school events.
