Job summary

Cross Country Education is hiring Special Education Teachers for Clark County School District in Nevada, with three openings across Las Vegas and Henderson campuses.

Position features a 7:30 AM-3:30 PM, 37.5 hours/week schedule through May 26, 2027, with pay ranging from $43-48+ per hour (W-2). Requires Nevada Special Education license and Bachelor's degree. Familiarity with IEPs and IDEA is essential; fingerprinting may be required for licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Nevada teaching license with Special Education endorsement is REQUIRED.
• Experience working with students with Autism is preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEPs, IDEA, and inclusive educational practices.
• Fingerprinting/background check as part of licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with student IEPs.
• Participate in IEP development, meetings, progress monitoring, and documentation.
• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with related service providers, general education staff, families, and school leadership.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data.
• Support students with diverse learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Maintain accurate educational and special education records.
