Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking a Tutor to provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring for K–12 students in their homes in Palmdale, CA. The role focuses on students with special needs, supporting Math, ELA, and Reading, and tailoring instruction to each IEP.

The ideal candidate has Spanish fluency, a Bachelor’s in Education, and experience with Special Education. A background in K–12 tutoring is essential; credentials are preferred. Positions offered soon with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Spanish fluency is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is required.
• Background or experience in Special Education (credential preferred).
• Experience tutoring or teaching K–12 students.
• Strong generalist knowledge across core academic subjects.
• Experience working with students with special needs and accommodations is highly preferred.
• Must be enrolled in College or have completed an AA, BA or higher.
• Ability to pass an in-person background check (if required).

Responsibilities

About the Role

As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Palmdale, CA
