Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for a K-12 school setting in Athens, Tennessee. In this role, you'll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams.

This is a great fit for both experienced school-based SLPs and those transitioning into schools. You'll work under a 1.0 FTE, M-F schedule with pay up to $57/hour, W-2 employment, liability insurance, healthcare benefits, 401(k)

Qualifications

• Active (or eligible) Tennessee SLP license.
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based SLP services: evaluations, treatment, and consultation.
• Conduct standardized assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students' communication skills development.
• Partner with teachers, SPED staff, and families to promote carryover.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Adapt materials and environments to improve student access.
