Job summary

Bensalem Township School District in Bensalem, PA is seeking a Certified School Psychologist to join our K-12 services. This full-time, 10-month position offers responsibilities in evaluations, counseling, and IEP development within a public school setting.

The ideal candidate will hold PA certification, possess strong assessment and report-writing skills, and collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to create supportive learning environments.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current PA School Psychologist certification/licensure.
• Knowledge of IDEA and Section 504 laws.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and planning.
• Provide counseling and intervention services to students individually and in small groups.
• Support development and implementation of PBSPs and IEPs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams including eligibility, IEP, 504, and gifted meetings.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on student learning and behavior.
• Collaborate with MTSS/RTI teams to support student progress.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies.
• Maintain confidential records per district guidelines.
