Job summary
Maranatha Christian Academy (MCA) in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide school health services for students from kindergarten through 12th grade, including first aid, medication administration, and the development of individual health plans.
Collaborating with families and staff to promote student safety and well-being, you may grow into a full-time role with expanded responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a four-year college or university.
- Minimum of two years' experience as an RN; pediatrics/school nursing/public health nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide health services for K–12 students.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians and parents/guardians.
- Develop and implement individual health or emergency plans for students.
- Maintain health records including immunization reporting.
- Assist in managing school health programs and health-office operations.
- Collaborate with families and staff to promote student safety and well-being.
