Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based contract near Newberry, SC. You will support a diverse K-12 caseload and implement individualized plans under supervision, helping students access the curriculum and participate in classroom activities.

The assignment runs August 4 through May 22 with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Eligible SC licensure and pediatric/school experience are valued; collaboration with educators and families

Qualifications

• Valid SC COTA license or eligibility.
• Pediatric or school-based experience valued.
• Strong collaboration with educators, families, and other therapists.
• Ability to adapt therapy plans for a wide range of student abilities.
• Commitment to fostering independence and functional skills in students.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an OTR.
• Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory regulation, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to integrate therapy within classroom activities.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Assist in preparing therapy materials and maintain organized records.
