Job summary

Time To Teach is expanding its national trainer network and we are seeking experienced K-12 educators to deliver classroom management and student engagement PD. This is remote-friendly, independent contractor work with no quotas and complete, ready-to-deliver materials.

Trainers bring classroom experience and credibility while Time To Teach provides the rest, including certification and a community of fellow trainers. You decide how much to take on, with earnings per event.

Qualifications

  • Current or retired K-12 teacher or educator
  • Strong presenting and coaching skills for adult learners
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

Responsibilities

  • Deliver research-based professional development that teachers can use immediately
  • Help schools and districts strengthen classroom management and student engagement
  • Represent Time To Teach to a national audience with professionalism and passion

Time To Teach is growing our national team of trainers, and we are looking for experienced K-12 educators to deliver the classroom management and student engagement training we have been refining since 1993. More than 400,000 educators in all 50 states have been through this training, with content that traces its roots to the work of Dr. Madeline Hunter and Coach John Wooden at UCLA. The materials are proven. The content is done. What we need is the right person standing in front of the room.

This is flexible, remote-friendly independent contractor work built to fit around a full-time job, a family, or a retirement you are actually enjoying. No quotas. No curriculum to write. No business to build from scratch. You bring the classroom experience and the credibility. We bring everything else.

What the Work Looks Like:
  • Deliver research-based professional development that teachers can use Monday morning, not someday
  • Help schools and districts strengthen classroom management, instruction, and student engagement with strategies refined over 30+ years
  • Serve public, private, and charter schools nationwide, drawing on your own real-world experience
  • Represent Time To Teach with the three P's we look for: personality, professionalism, and passion for the educators you serve
You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
  • Are a current or retired K-12 teacher, instructional coach, administrator, principal, professor, counselor, or education consultant
  • Come alive in front of a room and love presenting, coaching, or leading adult learners
  • Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field
  • Are self-motivated and comfortable working independently

The Fine Print:

This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity, not a salaried position. Trainers are paid per event, and earnings vary based on individual effort, experience, availability, and engagement. New trainers complete Time To Teach certification before delivering their first event.
